Esmée: Marketing & Communication projectmanager at Lelystad Airport
50th anniversary
As a colleague at the Marketing & Communications department of Lelystad Airport, I am proud to be part of our 50th anniversary project. Together with my colleague Kim Schutte, I organise various events for our anniversary year.
It is inspiring and dynamic to see how our efforts have led to greater awareness that Lelystad Airport has been open for 50 years and that it is the largest General Aviation airport in the Netherlands. You hear many people say ‘when will the airport be open?’, but we have been open for 50 years! At such moments, it is extra motivating for me to exclaim even louder what a great airport we are.
Teamskip
The team spirit, or ‘Teamskip’ as we call it, with my colleagues is invaluable to me, we are proud to the bone, laugh a lot and work hard at and around our airport.
Anniversary events
We have already organised many great anniversary events this year and there is more to come..
-our kick-off in the passenger terminal
-the unveiling of Lelystad Airport at Madurodam, together with elementary school children
-the school trip of an elemantary school to Aviodrome
-our Sunset Fly-In during ‘De Langste Dag Vliegen’
-our grass logo made possible by De Lelystadse Boer
-the debate at our airport during BNR The Friday Move
-our Lelystad Airport barbecue, together with all employees of the companies at the airport
We have been open for 50 years!
Together with all colleagues, I will continue to strive for growth, innovation and inspire everyone interested in Lelystad Airport.
